For the second year in a row, we were proud to be part of the LTA Tennis for Kids programme, helping more children get into tennis. Coach Farid also attended training with the LTA team, including Miles Maclagan, former Great Britain player and Andy Murray’s coach.
Congratulations to Ishan Sundriyal, winner of the Bushey U11 tournament, and well done to Ben Patten, winner of Bushey U8.
The Vagabond juniors took part in the juniors box league held on Saturdays during the junior sessions. More than 100 matches were played across three rounds. Well done to Dishaan for winning the first round, Abhirath for the second round, and Savith for the third round.
Vagabonds junior championship winners and runners-up enjoyed a great time during the junior presentation with club president Peter Rea. Well done to all the juniors, and thank you Peter.
Well done to Ronnie Savage for winning his first U8 tournament at Bushey Grove. Ronnie has been training hard and progressing very well.
Congratulations to David Morgan for winning the Bushey junior tournament. David served very well and played amazing tennis throughout all his matches.
We are glad to have Rahul Patel training with us for the last 9 years. Rahul is a great tennis player and a great child, and he was part of the Hert Tarbes Programme for 2 years.
Coach Farid attended the Tennis For Kids training course at the NTC and trained with J. Marray, winner of the 2012 Wimbledon doubles title, and A. Hewett, winner of the 2016 Wimbledon doubles title. Thank you to the LTA for helping us promote tennis.
Well done to A. Siddiqi from Vagabonds and Gosling for winning his first U9 tournament at Gosling after seven straight match wins.
Congratulations to Cullum Cader on being selected as the junior player of the year at Vagabonds tennis club. Cullum worked very hard over the last 12 months, moving from Red 4 to Orange (U9) despite being only 7 years old.
Well done to all the Vagabonds juniors who participated in the club championships. We had a fantastic junior presentation with Peter, the club chairman.
Bushey U8 team had two great wins in the Hertfordshire Aegon League. Well done to all the players who represented the team and tried their best.
Well done to Joe Walsh on being selected as Bushey Grove player of the year. Joe also performed very well at Gosling Tarbes and, at only 8 years old, was already an Orange 2 player.
Vagabonds junior presentation was bigger than ever this year. Well done to all the players who participated, and big thanks to President Peter Rea for his support.
Vagabonds U10 team finished the 2015 Aegon Middlesex season with two good wins against West End Pinner and Headstone Tennis Club.
Well done to Ashima for winning the Bushey U8 Tournament. She played very well and won four matches.
Bradley was selected as Vagabonds player of the year for the second year in a row after winning key matches in the LTA Middlesex Aegon League and playing a major role in the U9 team’s success.
Rahul was selected as the player of the year at Bushey Grove after working hard in the LTA Tarbes programme. We looked forward to seeing him in tournaments in 2015.
Dhruv Velani did it again by winning the South East U10 Winter County Tour at Sutton. He was also performing strongly at recent LTA Regional Camps.

Vagabonds U9 team defended their previous title by winning their group in the Aegon Team Tennis Middlesex 2014. Results included wins over Brondesbury, Kenton B, Elmwood, and The Park Club.
Vagabonds U10 team became champions of their group in the Aegon Team Tennis Middlesex 2014 after strong results against Greenford Tennis Club, Headstone, Hurlingham Club, and The Park Club.
Great job to Joshua Allen for winning the Bushey Grove U8 Tournament. Joshua has been improving a lot recently.
Congratulations to Dhruv Velani from Vagabonds and Gosling IHPC, who won Harlow Grade 3, a regional tournament. His hard work paid off and he was also selected for the LTA Regional Camps.
Bradley Hodge was selected as the hardest working boy at Vagabonds in 2013 after winning several matches in both the Middlesex Aegon League and the Winter League.
Congratulations to Dhruv Velani from Vagabonds and Gosling Tarbes programme for winning the Middlesex U8 County Closed after eight straight match wins. He became ranked number one in Middlesex county for his age group.
